History 1990 In the glorious times of Belgian pop music, Beat&Sound was founded and settled down in Meerhout Belgium. Founder, Marc Verhoeven previously toured with bands in The Netherlands for almost 5 years. The company started its activities with one medium PA kit and also engaged itself in sales. Soon a lot of bands decided to chose Beat&Sound as their preferred partner. In order to serve all loyal customers at all times, the company was urged to expand stocks, being able to provide up to ten fully equipped PA kits at the same time. Growth was exponential and provided stable jobs to more than 20 engineers. Most of them were trained in the company and are up to now considered as most qualified nationwide. 2004 As the opportunity arose, Beat&Sound decided to buy his former customer, the Hasselt based company Demon, managed by Raymond Haeck, one of Belgium's best technical and artistic designers. Complementary to Beat&Sound's activities Demon was a high quality company specialized in corporate events. The joint venture led to new markets and improved service. Combined quality and economical efficiency created a powerful and healthy new company. For practical reasons and especially because of the international fame of Demon, Demon became the new flag of the new stock holders' corporation. 2005 Once based in a 1000 square meter warehouse in town, increased activities required more space. The corporation was able to build a new warehouse in the industrial zone of Meerhout. A 3000 square meter warehouse with expedition zones and 5 loading docks including 400 square meter of office space. Allowing to offer better services at most competitive pricing. 2007 In the policy of concentrating on the equipment stock as an investment company, Demon decided to outsource production activities. Again more efficiency and quality was obtained with the separation.2009 On request of our customers, Demon decided to start up production activities again. However concentrating on investments remains the major activity of the company what led to many loyal dry-rent customers. In order not to compete with clients, Demon decided to found QuES as the new production department.
